Legally Binding is a sapphic legal drama webcomic about an attorney with a chip on her shoulder who tries to rebuild her reputation with an obsessive new assistant. The story is set in a universe where court trials are represented by magical sword duels, inspired by the 1997 anime Revolutionary Girl Utena. Legally Binding includes themes of gender and sexuality, trauma, and emotional repression.
Legally Binding is a combination of my passion for sapphic Korea media, the magical girl genre, and my original characters.
Written and illustrated by me, edited by Mish.
Note: Legally Binding went by the title Worst of All until October 2026, so some artwork has the old title present.
The first concepts of Legally Binding were drawn in June 2020, and the official comic was released on July 22, 2022. Updates are posted every Thursday at 5PM EST.
